My Cancer Up Date: I am blessed with many FB friends and I just wanted to give my many friends an update on my Cancer treatments. Since I started the Chemo injection on June 18, 2014 at the VAMC in Jackson I have had 10 chemo injections along with taking a chemo pill everyday for 21 days and then 7 days off (recover period to allow my blood cell to replenish) regiment. At the beginning I was taking a Chemo injection weekly and then went to every 2 weeks for a month. This morning I received another injection and will now go to once a month, if all continues to go as will as it has thus far, the doctor told me that I may be able to stop taking the Chemo injection and continue the pill regiment. My kidneys are again functioning at 100% and all lab results show that the Multiply Mylemona is under control. I realize things can change daily and I take each day one day at a time and thank God for giving me another day. Please take time each day to count your blessings because things can change for us on a moment notice. To God be the glory!! I guess the Great Physician above is not thru with me yet.
