My Experience with Going Natural: 1. Natural Hair is very lovely when it is wet/damp. Bt u aint gonna see those coils wen ur mane is dried out. 2. Shrinkage isnt gonna get better its gonna get worse with each wash. My kind of shrinkage starts in d middle n bends my strands backward. Moisturised hair means more shrinkage. 3. Hair type has gat nothing to do with manageability. A thick 4a mane is gonna appear not very soft wen dry bt moisturised. Thick hair would barely hold twist at the tips until u section it smaller. Its hard to distribute product on thick hair and its gonna take ages to detangle such hair. Not an easy mane. Requires dedication so u dont end up with dreads. 4. Wash n go dont work with my hair. Ends up with knots n more tangles. 5. Solely co-washing makes my hair appear dull. I must clarify once its dull. 6. Twist out aint gonna make my hair stretch 100%, but 50%. I must twist it if my hair must look far from just a hair cut. 7. Dont try every thing you read. Keep it simple. 8. Hide your hair more - PS is a must wen my hair begins to dry out. I love wigs at this point before switching to braids. 9. My hair keeps getting thicker so as my strands. I wish it wont get thicker bt longer. 10. I wish my hair was like someone elses. No one told me this journey aint gonna be exciting everyday. Now its cold n I cant spritz lk I would love so I dont end up with allergy. N I hate d smells of my concoction tonight. Despite all of the above I love my mane. 10.
