My Final response on the nail salon. Prior Post Read: Nail salon again. The ladies asked me about my trip so I gave them a short synopsis. Low and behold as I am leaving a lady approaches me and says- you know a black cop just killed a white man-I look at her like she is crazy. She goes on-Well do you think they should protest there too.-I still look at her like she is crazy. I respond: I dont know, I dont know anything about it, I guess that depends on how that community feels about it and what the community feels needs to be done about it. She looks dumb as hell but goes on- Why cant they just let the police do what they do until they know exactly what is going on.- I look at her pretty blank again because I dont have any fracking idea as to what she is talking about. I go on: I dont know-depends on the community and how they feel about. She goes on: Now we are back to being divided everything was fine and now all this tension again.-Im still blank because you know how I feel about the word we- so of course my question is who is we? The poor chick who obviously wasnt intelligent enough to say what she really wanted to say just got played. I didnt even bother with the question of what is your point because I knew I never would have gotten it. All she could do after that was harp on about the few people there looting. I just kept the blank stare- I didnt want her to drop dead if told her those businesses were owned by black people. So….somewhere deep in the south….the saga continues.
