My Ipen called me up in the middle of a meeting. I had to excuse myself to give way to a very important call. My son never calls me unless its urgent. Ma, ung apelyido po natin un po ung grade ko sa Chem. Sorry po. I got Cinco. But I passed Algebra. I assured him its ok and asked if he could take summer classes to avoid any delay. I could have opt to nag, scold him and air out my disappointment and frustration but I choose to understand my son. No, Im not your perfect, understanding type of mom. I believe it was God who prepared my heart about my Ipens bad news. This morning, two of my friends called me up to ask for prayers about two separate heartbreaking news. One is about to lose her son to brain cancer and the other just found out that her daughter has lupus. Uttered prayers for them and wept with them as we pray.. No, a failing grade in Chemistry is not a bad news at all. Tonight, I take it as a good news. I love you, Ice.. Good evening, beautifuls.
