My Message for tomorrow: is entitled Get Your Fight Back! (1 Sam. 30:1-8). Has life ever pushed you to the edge of almost giving up, quitting and throwing in the towel. Have you ever cried so hard over a loss that you had no more power to cry, if so God has a Word for you! The index of a persons greatness is not found in their successes but can only be found in their suffering!! God has to take us to a place called Ziklag to see if you got what it takes!! Ziklag means to be Pressed Down or to Measure! Like David he was fighting 3 things at the same time; the Philistines, the Amalekites! and the people he thought was in his corner! What do you do when you have to fight at work and at home? As an example God is measuring the depth of Davids heart to see if he will purse his blessing that was taken from him or would he be discouraged by what he sees and feels right now? Dr Martin Luther King Jr said it best when he said Freedom is never voluntarily given by the Oppressor it must be demanded by the Oppressed! Its time to roll up our sleeves and take BACK what the Devil stole from us! Stop crying about it....just do it!! I hope to see you tomorrow at Second Baptist Church 10:45 am, please keep me and the other Pastort lifted up in prayer!! Dont forget about the Rally in the Square tomorrow 1:30 pm Downtown Lima!
