My Saturday off from my full time job consisted of an early on-air shift from 7-9:30 with Abby & Benjamin as co-hosts. A live remote broadcast at Menards from 11-1:00 with Abby. Lunch with Cherie & Abby at Culvers. 3 van full trips to the transfer station with brush from the last storm we had. Race to the radio station to get the equipment needed for the Muscatine High girls state playoff game I was announcing, 6 delays for lightning, and finally a cancellation due to the storm. Back to the station to do severe weather reporting, and finally home at 9:00 for dinner. A long day for sure, but so glad to be doing something I really love to do! Feeling pretty blessed, tired , but blessed ! Good night.
