My X1 boxes are fixed - it turns out the problem could have been fixed all along over the phone. I will give credit where credit is due - the tech arrived early and was very apologetic for all the problems. But when he saw the error messages, he told me this was a billing issue. I told him I have been on the phone for a total of 6 hours and they told me I needed a tech to come out. Long story short, when Comcast changed their billing system, it wiped some of the billing codes out of my boxes and they just needed to be added back....why could someone not have figured this out on my numerous calls to them? Im just happy it is fixed. I am waiting for someone to call me back from their corporate offices to discuss compensation. I will let you know what happens. But for all of you out there with issues, it could be missing billing codes......
