My brother Matthew would be turning 20 years old on October 3rd, but he committed suicide 7 years ago. I plan to celebrate his birthday next Saturday, on October 4th, by hosting a fun community event to help encourage the power of kindness and unity. The concert will be in my backyard in the Ranches - 4142 Smith Ranch Rd (directly south of Ridleys) FOOD: Soup & Salad Potluck! Bring your favorite Fall dish to share, camping chairs and/or blankets at 4:00 pm. Dinnerware and drinks will be provided (planning for around 200). ENTERTAINMENT: We will be assembling our 16x8 stage and have secured professional sound equipment to feature both local artists, and some family talent, including singer/songwriters, poets, instrumentalists, etc. Entertainment will begin at 4:30pm ***If you or someone you know are interested in being on the program, please email emsunshinemusic@gmail.*** Come, eat, enjoy local talent, and join me in promoting kindness and unity in our wonderful community!
