My brother was a truck driver and what he taught me on a road trip to Washington I will never forget ..He showed me how cars are hard to see and where the blind spots are on a big rig and once a car had jumped in front of us and my brother was down shifting as fast as he could and pulling the jake brake to avoid killing that family ..so when I drive in my car I make sure I am I a position next to the big rigs where they can see me from the side mirrors and If I see they want to pass another big rig I will courtesy flash my HIGH beams letting them know that they have the clearance to merge in front of me into my lane to pass that other rig ..Amen heres a number one Rule RESPECT THE TRUCKERS AND DONT ASSUME THEY CAN STOP ON A DIME BECAUSE THEY CANT...AND WHEN YOURE ON THE SIDE OF THEM MAKE YOU ARE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU ARE ALONG SIDE THAT RIG ..... AMEN :-)
