My daughter, Josi Smith had surgery this morning at 7:30 to remove a kidney stone from her Urethra. The surgery went fine, but not the Kaos..Got home around 10am and out the door at 2am with her blood pressure plummeting and blood flowing out of where she had her IV inserted, to top that off it was very swollen and she was extremely lightheaded. We got to the ER at Union and her BP was 82/50, they were concerned. Put her on an IV drip and did a lot of blood work. After all was said and done, the DR told us that the IV Tech had torn a vein and the blood had no where to go but out of that tiny IV pin hole. We are now home with a nice dinner in our tummies and resting...A VERY LONG DAY FOR US BOTH...out the door at 5am and back in at 7:30 pm....It is called Thank you Dear Heavenly Father for your watchful care over my little girl.
