My day in Ontario: After rolling in at 4 am today, I went to bed and had an appointment for 11 am. At 7, the lead shipping director woke me up for delivery. At this point it was lightly snowing. After delivery, I was given a box of VERY NICE chocolates and was told to have a Merry Christmas. That was so sweet of LJW Transport, by the way. At 1, I got out of bed and found that not only was the snow now 6+ inches deep, the plow had come through and pushed everything onto the front and sides of my truck. So...yeah, after trying to get out of that spot and failing for over an hour, I was ready to give up. Thats when David, a wonderfully nice gentlemen (who was a self described good ole boy) offered to help. He worked for 45 minutes to try and unstick me and after laying in the freezing snow, trying to pull it out with a chain and even driving it himself, he eventually hooked up a chain to my tires and got me out that way. Then, as if that wasnt enough, he spent another 10 minutes teaching me how to use them AND even gave me the chains after he was done! I was flabbergasted!!! Even with the snowfall of the day, my gps taking a crap on me and all the traffic, his help definitely made the day better... and the chocolates helped too!
