My dear friends , Mr. Kirpal Singh Dardi ( b. 10.12.1936 in record but actual 29.12.1936 A.D. ) is Kamboz caste OBC prominent writer of Punjabi language ! His parents were late Mr. Arjun Singh and late Ms Raj Kaur who lived in vill. Chalk no. 64 tehsil Tobha Tek Singh district Layalpur where Mr. Dardi was born . The Toba Take Singh city is now itself a district in Pakistan . The Layalpur city and district s name have been changed as Faislabad in memory of late Shah Faisal , emperor of the Saudi Arab who was murdered . Mr. Dardi worked hard to got education in engineering from the Ramgarhia Technical Institute , Phagwara ( Punjab ) and he retired as the S.D.O. in the Irrigation Deptt. , Punjab ! He becomes popular by his book Eh Kamboz Lok a book on the history and culture of the Kamboz an OBC caste which is also ST in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana state . He wrote two Punjabi story books Praee Mahik ( Another Smell ) and RishtiaN De guaache Arth ( Lost meanings of Relations ) . I like utmost his biographical book on Master Sundar Singh Layalpuri who was of Kamboz caste to whom Mr. Dardi revived by literarily . Master Layalpuri wrote many books and published many magazines in Punjabi . He was a man who published the firstever Punjabi daily newspaper Akali which impressed so much the elite class of the Sikhs that they founded a political party the Shiromani Akali Dal in December ,1920 ! Master Sunder Singh Layalpuri was a rare Indian journalist who started the third English daily the Hindustan Times in the North India after the Times of India and The Tribune . Its first editor was Mr. K. M. Paniker and it published from Delhi . Mr. Mangal Singh Gill of village Gill and Mr. Sardul Singh Kavishar were the editors of the Akali Punjabi daily . The Tribune was also founded by a Sikh chief Mr. Sunder Singh Majithia which is now under the control of the Arya Samajists and the Urban Sikhs which is anti Sikhs . Its trust runs three daily news papers The Tribune , Dainik Tribune and Punjabi Tribune in English , Hindi and Punjabi languages respectively . There was an enquiry committee of the Delhi based journalists to enquire the role of the Punjab s newspapers during the Punjab turmoil which confirmed that the The Tribune and the Dainik Tribune were ANTI Sikh millitant movement but their the Punjabi Tribune was PRO Sikh millitant movement ! The Hindustan Times was also snatched from the Sikhs by the King of Darbhanga Princely state with a connivance of Mr. M. K. Gandhi and Mr. Madan Mohan Malviya and it is now with M/s Birlas . The Ajit , Jalandhar a most circulated Punjabi daily started by another a Saini / Mali OBC caste late Mr. Sadhu Singh Hamdard is also under the grip of manuwadi Sikhs who always opposed Sahib Kanshi Ram s movement while Dr. Ambedkar got sanctioned the newspaper quota to it as per late Mr. S.S. Hamdard s preface of Dr. Ambedkar s biography in Punjabi by Mr. Lahori Ram Balley to which I reproduced in Sahib Kanshi Ram s the Bahujan Samaj Bulletin weekly as late Mr. Hamdard s son was opposing to Sahibs movement and me as I was its editor . The Ajit s daily circulation decreased up to sixty five thousands within forty days and he surrendered on 27th December , 1996 to Sahib in Mr. Gurbachan Singh s home in Shakti Nagar , Jalandhar City . Mr. Kirpal Singh Dardi also wrote biographies of Shahid Udham Singh a Kamboz and a Maharashtrian Mr. Shri Kant Apte under title Shri Kant Apte - Jiwan te Vichar in Punjabi . He also wrote a book on castesin Punjabi . He also wrote autobiography in which he acknowledged the revolutionary thoughts of a Punjabi SC Adi-Dharami poet late Kavi Chinta Ram Wahimi whose ancestral village was Mukandpur a well renowned village in district SBS Nagar , Punjab . Kavi Wahami also lived in Mr. Dardi s village in Pakistan from where he migrated to village Sujjokalia near Talwandi ChaudhriaN district Kapurthala , Punjab , India where his son late Mr. Shanti Nath s family and Mr. Sarwan Kumar lives . He was a poetic preacher influenced by Adi-Guru Muggowalia . Kavi Wahami s two stanzas reflects his thoughts in which he elaborated the Gods of haves and have nots as below :- HornaN da Rabb dinda motraN te baggiaN ! Sada Rabb sade naal kar riha thaggiaN ! Kashat bathere ditte baat nahiN vicharda ! Sada Rabb sade naal kahir guzarda ! It means the God of haves bless them with the motorcars and charriots but our God of have nots exploits us ! Kavi Wichara further blamed that our God of have nots tortured us enough but did not think about our welfare . At last he dared to blame the our God did injustice with us ! Kavi Wichara was also a famous musician ! Mr. Kirpal Singh Dardi also wrote a book on the five rivers Satluj , Beas , Ravi , Chinab and Jhehlam of United Punjab of pre partition of India on which base he wrote a detailed article which is being published in five Sunday issues of the Ajit ( ajitjalandhar ) of which two installments published on 31st August and today 7th September , 2014 to which I share here !
