My dear friends many of us had very tough 2014. It was tough not only to some of us it was tough for the entire countries, for millions all over the world. It seems like a major cleansing and worldwide restructuring is on the way. We can only hope that the grand shift that is coming will bring about better world order instead of the old new world order. Lets hope that uncertainty and fear will be replaced by prosperity and joy for all. In what I wrote on facebook during my three years in Russia I may have offended some of my freinds in Canada and I would like to use this opportunity to applogize for it and to tell them that I love them all. I hope that it will reach even those that Ive deleted from my friends. I would like to state once again that there are no better countries, there are only better choices for certain people in certain periods of their lives. In 1992 I left Russia without regrets in search for better life, in december 1999 I did it again on my way to Canada and in december 2011 another major decision was made that have put me through the whole array of emotionally charged life experieces, not all of which were positive I must admit now. It could be that by sharing the positive on the facebook I was setting myself up for the negative. In any case everything that happened have made me only stronger. It only deepened my understanding of different colors of life in different places on this planet. I wanted to go back to Russia since I have left and now Im back and now I know what Russia is all about. With all the aspects, with all the uglinesses and the beauty, from all angles, from deep inside. Russia is the place where your soul is tested for strength, its a place where weakness can be fatal, where the rules of the game are unknown, tomorrow is unpredictable, the chaos is prevailing. However it is also pushing you to do your absolute best, because it leaves you no choice. Nobody is going to rescue you, it is you that is facing the world, the world where the cold wind is blowing on your face and the beatiful women smiling passing buy :) So it is december again and I have made another december move decision. This time to Moscow, back to where it all began ... Im leaving the neigbourhoud where my favorite writer in chldhood Fyodor Dostoevsky used to live, 5 minutes walking distance from my home. The place where Gregory Rasputin used to live and with a grand book about his life bearing an autograph of Dr. Knazkin that wrote it. Im living the biggest appartment in what used to be rental buidling back in 1860, which is 154 years old in the neibourhood initially built for those serving the royal family. I have crossed my beatufiul bridges in St. Petersburg, as I have crossed many bridges in my life. Crossing the Palace Bridge in my car for the first time at night was one of the most breathtaking moments that I will never forget. Walking towards the Trinity Bridge for the first time across the Field of Mars leaving Summer Garden on the right side was another unforgettable experience. It was built in the memory of 25 year anniversary for Maria Fedorovna and Alexander III. As I was reading this on it, I thought what a grand idea -a bridge symbolizing a connection of two people. Now Im about to cross another symbolic bridge from St. Petersburg to Moscow a destination I have travelled dozens of times during only last two years. Hopefully with the foundation in St. Petersburg Moscow will be easier to conquer. Putin btw have grown up right here also about 5 minutes walking distance from my home. In these last hours of 2014 I would like to wish to everybody to make one more step closer towards self realization, towards happiness that could only be based on doing what you do best, towards prosperity in your own definition of the word. Happy 2015 from the only true capital of Russian empire, an empire no longer wishing to be an empire and no longer capable, but the one that is still considered a threat in the eyes of the only one that is left which is about to fall. With hopes for the better world, new world, dynamic, equal for all where everything is based on mutual respect, mutual interests and mutual benefits. Happy New Year !
