My dog is allergic to fleas. Yay. This mean that even though she gets Nextguard on a monthly basis, like our vet recommends, she still scratches and bites herself until she looks like the Velveteen Dog with all of the thin spots in her fur. A week ago I got some essential oil capsules with Lavender, Lemon, and Peppermint by doTerra called Tri Ease. I started giving her one capsule a day on Tuesday to help with her allergic response. Shes only 5 months old so too young for a cortisone shot. She was so sensitive that the slightest pat on her belly would send her leg into spasms. All I could do was rub her ears. After less than a full week taking the Tri Ease capsules her scratching is less, she isnt biting herself, and I can rub her belly without the slightest leg tremor. I am thoroughly impressed. Now Im going to try doTerras Terra Shield on her collar to prevent the fleas from getting on her in the first place!
