My experience with Obamacare: Please read this BEFORE jumping down my throat with any politically charged response. I work for a small business owner who has been providing medical/dental insurance to all of his employees for years. Premiums and out of pocket expenses were manageable until this year. Pricing has forced him to no longer offer the insurance but he has extended a hand, with a small increase in wages, to help offset employees premiums for coverage we elect via Healthcare.gov. Bottom line is - I must have insurance as I have a young family of 5 to consider (oh yea, its also the law now). Comparable, adequate coverage via the market place will cost me $1,561.00 PER MONTH! I have to pay this, I have no choice. My kids need medical/dental coverage. How the hell am I going to pay this bill every month? Where is the benefit Im supposed to reap as a result of a program (the law) to ensure adequate & affordable healthcare for all Americans? I dont get it. Maybe we will only eat dinner 3 or 4 days a week in effort to save for this monthly gouging. Id like to announce that Im starting a Help the Baldwins pay for Healthcare Fund. If any of you have any extra $ and are looking for a worthy cause, message me and I will fill you in how you can help. What is more worthy of your generosity than my childrens health and well-being?
