My fears for Jonathan and governors-Ayodele Revered seer and founder, INRI Spiritual Evangelical Church, Oke-Afa, Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele in this interview with News Editor, Saturday, Ajibola Abayomi talks about his new prophesies You predicted the current crisis rocking the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). What do you think is the way forward? Ayodele Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele It is quite unfortunate that we have a president and a party that do not pay attention to divine warnings. Prophecy is foretelling danger and giving directions on the way out. It is not to cause panic. PDP undermined God. What you are witnessing now in the party is just a tip of the iceberg. If President Goodluck Jonathan contests the 2015 election, he will find it difficult to win. He needs to consult God for proper direction. I have said what God wants from him: conduct free and fair poll then his name will be written in gold. The judiciary may find it difficult to rule in favour of the factional PDP, but at the end of the day, the group will cause political havoc against Jonathan’s re-election. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition should not be underrated. I foresee some governors being messed up. The Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan and Governor Godswill Akpabio of Akwa Ibom must be careful. Uduaghan must pray against what will make the structure of PDP to be hijacked from him such that he will be thrown into confusion. Let him commit his future after his tenure into the hands of God, because I see anti-graft agencies running after him. Akpabio should pray against what will make him experience political robbery. PDP in his state will break into factions and his anointed candidate will face difficulties succeeding him. Some court cases will come up after Akpabio’s tenure that will be targeted at him. Let him and Uduaghan rebuke what would land them in jail. Please tell the Cross Rivers State governor, Liyel Imoke to be careful so as not to play into the hands of anti-graft agency as well. Some governors will still join the breakaway PDP. This nation needs prayer against disintegration. All of us must be involved. I have repeatedly said that Nigeria needs cleansing against series of calamities. When we warned Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba State that he should pray against sudden accident that would make him encounter difficulties in office, many people laughed at me. That prediction was contained in our book titled “Warning to The Nations”. Well, God can still restore Suntai back to his old self. However, the Taraba State Acting Governor, Garba Umar should not jump for joy. Those urging him to carry on will stab him at the back during election. How do we cleanse Nigeria? Though fasting and prayers as directed by God. Must the government come to you for solution? Don’t worry, let them act, they don’t necessarily have to see me. These prophecies are tough, where do we go from here as a nation? I want you to know that predictions are warnings from God on things to come. They can be averted with prayers. For instance, President Jonathan is getting a lot of things wrong because he is ignoring warnings from God. Many pastors are deceiving their congregations. God is different from man. The Bible says the people perish due to lack of knowledge. Why not parley with government to avert these dangers? Parley like how? Am I a minister in government? I only obey God. He is not using me for Nigeria alone. Whenever, I have message for any leader, I deliver it without fear or favour. If President Jonathan is willing to meet you, are you ready to reveal to him solutions to Nigeria’s problems? If God instructs me to meet with the president in person, I will but I won’t initiate the meeting. It is an honour if God sends me to anybody. However, I have been talking to the government through personal letters, the media as well as my prophetic book on yearly basis. Even if the presidency invites me and God said I should not go, I will not be there. How do you get all these revelations? I am a prophet of God. As I am talking to you, God can speak to me and I will relay the message. It is only those that ask for solution, that one will be inspired to tell the way out. What other things is God telling you? There is a lot to say about the 2015 election. All Progressives Congress (APC) too will still be factionalised. The President of Market Women Association of Nigeria should not politicise her office otherwise members of the association will rebel against her. If Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the leader of APC and Governor Babatunde Fashola are unable to agree on a governorship candidate, PDP will take over Lagos State. O’odua Peoples Congress (OPC) will have crisis, they should pray against what can lead to bloodshed. In future, cars using gas will be developed because petroleum will be less attractive. Gas will be used to power electricity in Nigeria as well. Our foreign reserve will be depleted and there will be Labour unrest such that National Union of Petroleum Employees and Natural Gas Workers (NUPENG) will join the strike. Government must avoid all these to protect the economy. Money will cause problem between the House of Reps and the Senate. The Secretary to the Gombe State Government should pray against removal from office. The Chief of Staff to Ogun state governor should pray against losing his close relative. Oyo State governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi must pray against political miscalculations. Not all the senators and reps will complete their tenure; warn them to pray against sudden deaths. Etisalat should pray against loss of revenue. Stanbic and Guarantee Trust Banks will have problems with the Central Bank except their managements seek God. Mainstream bank and Keystone bank will change their names soon. There will be shake-up in the cabinet of Governor Fashola soon. Aren’t you bothered that people in government don’t care about your prophecies? I can’t say much on that, through their inability to heed divine warnings, several countries have been exploring the advantage to reach out to me. When Syria government read my book and what I predicted concerning the nation, they got across to me. I have told them the way out. Many blame the cause of corruption on spiritual leaders. What do you think? Pastors have corrupted the society. People have deviated from what the Bible says. You now see churches where people must buy a pass before they worship and pay money to occupy the VIP seats. These are terrible. People are no longer interested in worshipping where they can be tutored according to the directive of the Holy Spirit. You hear people saying that church is not populated as expected; therefore they want to go to where they have multitudes. That is where I disagree with the President of CAN. He is not doing anything to regulate activities of churches. Just on one street alone, you can find up to 10 churches. Don’t you people meet to correct some of these things as clerics? How will that be possible when there are people claiming different callings? CAN ought to have been the rally point. Why can’t CAN set up an agency to empower the less privileged? May be because CAN itself is broke? Well I don’t know go and find out from the CAN president. White garment churches are believed to be fetish in some quarters, why? That is not correct. Fake pastors speaking in tongues are the ones afraid of white garment churches. I agree that in some instances, there could be abuse, but the judgment of churches belong to God. Pentecostal churches use water, oil, handkerchiefs and soaps for spiritual works. In my own church, we bless those things for people to use as well. Therefore, let no one condemn white garment churches out of ignorance.
