My first day Korea: Hmmm so far it is so much better then I expected. Now is the biggest holiday in Korea so there are not many ppl out and about, but in Korea not many is still a lot. My favorite thing about Seoul so far: they never sleep here. Even with it being a Thursday night and a holiday weekend,most restaurants were open until 5am or were 24hrs along with cafe and everything else Least favorite part about Seoul: the streets- While the Korean government has made strides this year to have street names most people dont use them yet. So thedirections to my hostel and to the subway were hard for me to follow because it contained no address or street name. If u know me, u know imbhorrible with directions, Its like DC time 10. So, a ten minute walk from the subway with 130lbs of luggage turned into an hr lol. I was so heated but I made it with the help of Some friendly people.Any questions shoot me a pm.
