My friend MAYA MIRIAM BAS MERY is in critical condition. She has been undergoing treatment for lukemia and is now sedated in intensive care. She is an angel!! Please please help by thinking of one thing you can do today that is meaningful, heartfelt and could bring joy or peace or light into our world. Lets bring LIGHT!! as a schut for Mayas refua, for your own yeshua and bringing the Geula!! Here are some ideas: Spend 5 minutes really listening to someone Call someone who lives alone or who would appreciate a hello Genuinely forgive someone in your heart Give a warm smile to someone in the street- do not underestimate how this can change someones day Give a some shekels towards a chanukia or buy some candles or bottle of oil for someone who would appreciate it Spend 3 mins thinking of what another person needs today Return some or all of money to someone you owe Say a bracha with deep and genuine kavanah that Hashem is helping you Call your mum or dad to say hi. Make them feel special Do something today that youve been putting off for ages Warmly invite someone for Shabbat that is single or lives alone or may need a break Return a book or other items to someone you borrowed from- or was left at your place Have a moment of kindness and understanding for yourself today. Look out for ways to help: help lift a stroller or shopping trolley on/ off the bus When giving tzedaka to someone, smile and genuinely wish them yom tov or chag sameach. Say a pasuk of tehillim with a translation in your language and say it understanding each word and sentence with your heart. Eat breakfast/ lunch/ /dinner if you dont usually and nourish your body Share a hashkacha pratis story with someone to give them chizuk Look into your life and spend 1 minute genuinely thanking Hashem and being grateful for one thing And of course tefilla, tehillim, own prayer with extra kavanah and focus More idea welcome!!
