My friends Melissa Saunders and family are moving to Newcastle and would like to connect with like minded folk in the area. Melissa and Paul have been running the Fishjam stage at Wintermoon for the past 2 years, nurturing young musicians and encouraging participation in their field of interest. Happily for us they will be back in May for the festival 🌝. Please see Melissas input below. Melissa Saunders Hi All, I am a singer and Singing teacher moving to Newcastle in late January. My daughter is starting at HSPA. I teach modern singing and have 8 years experience private teaching at local schools, workshops, my own studio, school musicals and small school choirs up here in the Whitsundays. My band ran the FishJam acoustic Stage at the Airlie Beach Music Festival as well as Wintermoon Folk Festivals. I am a professional singer/songwriter. My original music is folk/blues. I can prepare for ANZCA Exams in modern singing (or equiv.) I specialise in mentoring teenagers to performance.
