My heart is in so much pain tonight, someone who has been the world to me, for most of my life (37yrs), is in the last days of her battle with cancer- she has been a mother to me, a teacher of Gods word, an inspiration, my rock, she has taught me life lessons, the bible says- Train up a Child in the Way they should go, and she did that. Sometimes a person doesnt have to give birth to you to be your mama or daddy. She is my MAMA. God wants his angel back, so we have been told, soon he will be coming to get her. Mama used to always say- You come in this world headed on your way out- I love you mama, thank you for teaching me how to be a strong woman, how to be a mama myself, and how to think of others and not myself - how to put God first, those good old fashioned southern Memphis manners and respect - Forever you will have a place in my heart. Praying that God eases your discomfort..
