My letter from NHS?! Not impressed. Mistakes or cracks in the change over already? I was told at my consultant appointment I would have 6 weeks to choose between Stoke, Wolves or Burton to have my baby in April and Id receive a letter and info to help with my decision making. Well, Ive now received said letter. I am apparently booked in now to have my baby at Stafford, midwife lead only in April. What? The fact I have previously suffered post traumatic stress in the past, have an going health problem and that I have a known reaction to entinox. I was also told after my last birth it would be wise under my circs not to have pethadine either. Am I now expected to give birth at risk to me and my baby at Stafford hospital & with no option of any pain relief then? It states later in the letter all anaesthetist & peads etc will not be available as we all know at Stafford past January 16th. In the event intervention is needed Ill be just be blue lighted to Stoke. Come on. This is all getting a bit ridiculous!
