My mindset now is what the hell is really going on so its crucify black football player month. Suspend a man for whipping his child with a switch are you serious!!!??? This is truly one of the oldest punishments in the book of true discipline. So now they are going to control the disciple of your children the individuals you have living with you. So the child you clothe, feed and shelter is ultimately given full control to act a fool whenever he chooses and you have no right or cause to discipline said child. What the hell is the world coming to and now where is it going and you wonder why they keep building prisons theyre getting ready. I will understand if some of you disagree how you raise yours is your business. In cases of serious abuse I understand intervention but to say I cant take my belt off and pop my child or send him outside to pick his own switch to be disciplined with I will say this to you are Satan. Unfriend me block me it really doesnt matter I know how I was raised and it was with stricter disciple than switches and its not that my parents were abusive I was just one stubborn hard headed child and I thank them for had they not done so we probably wouldnt be having this conversation. In closing I will add that this is a predominately Christian society thats always screaming WWJD I give you the word of a predecessor the Wise King Solomon Proverbs 3:12 because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. Proverbs 19:18 Discipline your children, for in that there is hope; do not be a willing party to their death. Proverbs 22:15 Folly is bound up in the heart of a child, but the rod of discipline will drive it far away. Proverbs 23:13 Do not withhold discipline from a child; if you punish them with the rod, they will not die. Proverbs 23:14 Punish them with the rod and save them from death. Proverbs 29:15 A rod and a reprimand impart wisdom, but a child left undisciplined disgraces its mother. Proverbs 29:17 Discipline your children, and they will give you peace; they will bring you the delights you desire. Namaste
