My mom and I had a discussion about finding life on other planets. She thinks its a waste of time, and Im nuts to get excited over it, lol! However, if they start finding life on moons and planets, right in our solar system, it likely means that life formation is a natural process that tends to occur throughout the Universe. This means life could be all over the Universe! To what extent it has evolved is another question. Just in the last few years, they are finding water and other liquids and warmth on what were previously thought to be cold and inhospitable planets and moons right in our solar system. The gravitational pull on moons, by their planets, creates internal friction that heats theses places up from within. To think we live in an age where we have a chance to examine and begin to understand the big picture is fantastic!
