My ode to the inside job of 9/11 Thief in the Autumn Morning of 9/11 The little child walks to school on a fall day in September A CEO of a corporate empire makes his way hastily to the subway A secretary pulls on her high heeled pumps, racing for the train A housewife bids her husband good day and hands him his lunch A janitor readies his mop and bucket as he enters the elevator The neighborhood fire chief makes sure the American flag is raised The firehouse cook readies the battalions breakfast The policeman stops to kiss his daughter goodbye for the day Millions of people died needlessly that day Because a government saw a need to find reasons Bush ignored the Iraqi peace option they say And charged whistle blowers with treason The government was warned in ample advance Some say 3 years, others say months ahead of time Span and amount of knowledge is irrelevant You knew and you chose to turn a blind eye Gaping holes in buildings that dont match the plane Collapsing structures and melting steel go unexplained Reporters spewing stories of discord and disdain While innocent lives are pawned for your greedy gain You ignored those warnings because war surely pays Based on religion, greed and secrecy you fueled it Like an executioner you sent innocent people to work that day Knowing many would never return to their families Collateral damage is your term so to speak For families with heroes you allowed to perish The horror it orchestrated for us to endure you see Holds memories of lives someone cherished You went home to your happy little lives Without a care in the world for the core of this country With giggling children and happy housewives You dined on your steaks amid the controversy Is that blood hot and sticky on your hands For lives lost and lives saved by heroes Ordinary people whos lives took a stand In their absence of life form you murdered If a child whos Dad or Mom never made it home that day Or a wife left to endure the loss of an unborn child Were to approach you and ask why...what would you say How would you tell them you already knew why So you could orchestrate a need to go to war To boost our economy and help some more By creating millions owed to families for sure And for what ......for your own folk lore We see you now for what you are worth Disregarding human lives for greed and control Sam never seeing his babys birth Because our government decided to tuck and roll Was it all worth it for you..we really want to know We are in worse economic hardship from your little plan While we still duck and dive as you to and fro We are tired of your lies and petty false flags We can tell Tommy his daddy was a firehouse hero We can tell Eric that his wife didnt jump from that window We can tell him she panicked and had nowhere to go We can tell Mary her husband clutched his mop all told How do you sleep at night causing such mayhem Prosecuting those that choose to speak out and inform Knowing the blood is on your hands of for them Sending our soldiers to fight battles in false uniforms You have affected every walk of life known to human kind Disregarding hard working people going about daily lives You knew...You coveted it....You chose not to act..Why? Because you have manipulated and steered for the last time I hope you read this you heartless, greedy bastards We are fed up with your mindless tyranny and evil You have led us not into temptation You have led us into fearless determination We want our world back... You stole it like a thief in the night... Can we ever forgive? Can we ever forget? You should not expect us to..... We should not be fighting a war where we do not belong Kneeling in respect....We honor our sisters and brothers who perished that day For they knew not what hit them.....RESPECT We do not forget......We cannot forgive......
