My power has been out since yesterday and I am getting so mad that I could spit. I cant run a home based business in the dark! I call and I get recordings telling me they cant give me a time but I should go to their website. So, I go to it on my phone and it shows the outages on a map. It tells me to zoom in on my location. Well, my location shows no outages! It shows outages a mile from me, but nothing near me. I have reported my outage 4 or 5 times and still nothing but a recorded sob story on how bad the storm was. Well, my parents next door have Hilco, and their power NEVER GOES OUT! My power goes out constantly because Im stuck with crappy Oncor. Guess what Oncor? The storm was just as bad 100 yards away at my parents as it was here and they NEVER lost power! In the 15 years Ive lived here, only once did my parents lose power. I lose power every 15 days it seems like. I am sick of dragging out generators and cords and desperately trying to keep my fish alive. One cichlid died last night, and he was a cute little guy that I loved. My battery fish tank aerators are working, but not that strong. I need to buy better ones for the next power outage.....Probably in 2 weeks. I have a little generator, but I cant run my whole house on it. I hope all of my food has not gone bad in my refrigerator. I just stocked up! Grrrrr. I really want to scream and hit something, but Im not a screamer....and Id just hurt my hand.
