My prayers for the KARGIL WAR HEROES : My prayers for those soldiers who had laid down their life for our country during the KARGIL WAR. May their family members be looked after well by our country and the society, and it shouldnt be that in the garb of honoring the brave and their family members, unscrupulous members of our society are allowed to seek advantage in the name of honour and glory for those who gave their lives for our nation. Since I had seen it happening many a times, and therefore I am reiterating it out here. In fact at one two occasions for the Kargil Heroes that were organized at Agra, the widows got a very poor treatment, at the expense of some builders who GRACED the occasion and PROMOTED their empire, with the media toeing the line. There was such a media frenzy and the urge to be clicked that had pushed aside the people like me who were a part of this war, and who had an equal chance of being the martyrs for our nation. AND simultaneously I would like to extend my best wishes to all those who survived wounded or unscathed. In many ways, that war has left indelible imprints in our heart that cant just fade away.
