My sciatica and related spinal pain has been off the chart. The medication does help but even something as simple as sitting in front of my computer to work often becomes a hit or miss proposition, not only severely reducing my income but also threatening my standing in the company, a company that is actually quite pleased with the quality of my work. I just called the Laser Spine Institute to see if their surgery is an option. I told them that before anything else, Id like to know if and how much my insurance will cover. The gentleman took my info and said hed return my call next week. I know that at a minimum my deductible will be 5 grand, which I dont have. But lets see what kind of deal I can work out, if any. Something has to be done soon, though. I am rapidly running out of strength. This kind of constant pain and is not only physically debilitating but mentally as well. The quality of my life has been reduced to zero. I have been plunged into almost non-stop depression and I am losing the desire to continue living.
