My son Giovanni started Taekwondo at the age of 6 in his 1st grade of elementary school. From the first day he could talk and express himself he has always shown to be kind and good hearted to everyone. He is honest, never follows anyone with bad intentions & pretty much always does the right thing. JoJo works hard at taekwondo, loves to spin in the air like a nature to be recon with, always shows respect to his peers & opponents with nothing to prove. At such a young age he has learned to control and consciously continue to learn self-control in his fight & in life. Im wowed as a parent & as a taekwondoist. Every time he falls he gets right back up ready and willing to do what it takes to achieve his goals. What more can I say in such few words but to say, I am so, so proud of you my son. You are not only practicing Taekwondo, but a little of the 5 tenets or principles of Taekwondo is in you. You have not only received a black belt, you are a true black belt. Congratulations Giovanni for respectfully earning your first grade black belt & a great big heartfelt thank you to Grand Master Lee, Maître Evangelos Ligeros, Master Tony Achkouti, Master Mody Sory Barry & all the athletes that helped make this a reality.
