My video response of what took place last night! Focus on change!! The positive!! The time is now to seek a positive change of the laws that govern our Communities Last night was a tragic, but many expected this to happen, it gave us confirmation that America has not turned away from its ugly history of inequality and oppression. Yet, has continued to figure out ways to publicly humiliate and knock off the value of the African American male. Our fight has never been physical instead the fight lies in the realm of the unseen. The fight lies in the literature of American laws. Legally there was no room for Justice for Mike Brown and his family, instead what we saw was a display by the Police-tied prosecutor to effectively use the law to protect Officer Wilson. Whos ever been to court? Did the Prosecutor help you? What we need to focus on, however, is changing the literature of the laws that govern our communities so that we are more equally represented in hope that events like this will never happen again. But without changing the literature of the law Justice will continue to be a dish served cold.
