My week started with very sad news. My Uncle Chaim Todres passed away in Perth on Shabbat. All you ex-Herzlians will remember him as the pharmacists from Highlands Pharmacy, across the road from the school. To me, he was Uncle Chaim, the kindest, sweetest man, softly spoken and restrained in the midst of a very loud extended family. He always had a smile on his face and a genuinely warm greeting when you walked into his pharmacy or into his home. Uncle Chaim, you will always have the warmest place in my heart.
