The setting was amazing up in Vernonia, Oregon at the Old Mill. Jason Martinez, Jeff Buehner and Brandon Cook had amazing performances in spite of the cold. Our fingers and toes literally hurt they were so cold. We thought the cops would show up due to the noise and not getting official clearance as the Vernonia Chamber of Commerce is now all volunteer and no one returned the calls I placed. Fortunately, the owner was very cool when he showed up right before our last shot and charged a very reasonable day fee use... Also, I found out the owner buys real estate from my uncle Mike Hafeman... Small world!!! I may do an evening weekend concert up in the Old Mill in Vernonia this summer.
