NOW AUGUST 5, 2013 Kataeb: Urgent measures needed on border with Syria The Kataeb Party called on the Lebanese state to implement strict security measures along its border with Syria. “The Kataeb Party condemns the recurrent Syrian violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and stresses the importance of implementing security measures along the border crossings with Syria, in Masnaa, Al-Aboudiyeh, Al-Arida and others,” the party said in a statement on Monday following its weekly meeting. “These measures should curb the infiltration of groups that belong to suspicious cells.” The party also called on the Lebanese Armed Forces and the security forces to reinforce the border “to prevent infiltrations in both directions.” https://now.mmedia.me/lb/en/lebanonnews/kataeb-urgent-measures-needed-on-border-with-syria
