National Kissing Day ! Who makes this stuff up ? ___________________________ Form an orderly queue- lol Kissing – it’s good for your health ( along with the Gym ) What are you up to on 20th June 2013? Getting stressed at work? Ignoring your credit card bills? Getting stuck in traffic? Why not forget about all that for a day and think about kissing! After all, as the saying goes, ‘A kiss blown is a kiss wasted...the only real kind of kiss is a kiss tasted’. On National Kissing Day, we propose everyone gets at least one kiss in their day, whether it be from your parents, a loved one or a close friend – and yes, we all know an ‘X’ at the end of a text message or email is a common way to show affection these days, but it can’t compare to the real thing. The question is though, will Brits be up for a kiss on National Kissing Day? A kiss can be out of love, to greet, to say farewell, out of comfort or friendliness. It could be a way to remind your partner how much you love them or to show a friend how much you care. One thing we have to bear in mind though is that some people don’t always appreciate PDA (that’s public displays of affection to you and me) it makes some people nauseous, and even gets others cross. But encouragingly, kissing holds a range of health benefits from relieving tension and exercising facial muscles, and of course, best of all, it boosts your self-esteem. "For some, kissing is a common act in your day, even if it is just a peck on the cheek. What’s so good about National Kissing Day is it really does bring people together and spreads a bit of joy at the same time. It can make you giggle or give you butterflies in your stomach - the implications of a kiss can be so positive. It’s a sign of love, friendship and to show someone you care. There are some rules though, starting obviously with the need for both parties involved with a kiss needing to be willing participants! Other than that, and I’m thinking more of the guys here(!),make sure you’re carrying some chewing gum if you’re planning on puckering-up, and try to avoid any garlic; girls, if you plan to give it a go, then make sure your lips are too tempting to turn down on National Kissing Day!" A kiss can hold different meanings in different cultures around the world but in any case a kiss should be cherished and loved. National Kissing Day, on June 20th, looks to spread this love so jump on board and give it a go!
