National parks are closed while all of the employees have no jobs indefinitely (except Congress). Government agencies created by our democratic republic to perpetuate the undeniable rights of its citizens to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness are closed (unless they are spying on the very the same citizens). However, personally, I am most outraged at this point that all of our combat forces deployed, mostly in the Middle East (roughly 70,000 troops officially) no longer are supplied with warm meals. They eat rations delivered in sealed bags to protect our national progress, our current (re)development, and continuous prosperity as an example for change and ideally peace for everyone, everywhere, at all times. That may seem outstanding, however, everyone deserves some type of dignity if we believe we all do. This is not progress. Peace.
