Need to share... It is kinda funny to discuss with journalists asking about the Congolese army and M23... asking do you think that the M23 is defeated? This is the same Congolese army that almost captured Bosco Ntaganda... that was asked to stand down after defeating M23 in Rumangabo... the same army that the media has called rapist, looters, thieves... not even nuancing the issue of having former rebels wearing Congolese army uniforms through military integration and still committing the crimes... The same Congolese army of yesterday is the same one fighting today.... Did they get magical powers? No! What changed? There were a lot of change in the Congolese military chain of command... removal of few officers such as Amisi Tango Fort, change of tactics from commanders on the front line to not listen to dubious orders from Kinshasa... I mention Colonel Mamadou NDala Moustafa who refused to stand down after winning battles.... support of SADC nations... and not to forget the disengagement of Rwanda in support of the M23 when they were pushed to the Rwandan border. Lots of lessons learned... but the game is being played at the geopolitical level... Africans are playing ping-pong when the West plays American football. Africans keep getting hit every time they touch the ball. Learn the game!
