Neither worm holes nor black holes have been depicted in any Hollywood movie in the way that they actually would appear. But they wouldnt actually appear. There was a peer reviewed paper sponsored by John Wheeler, which demonstrated how general relativity would not need coordinates. You could say this was a step toward allowing the existence of a wormhole, a term coined by Wheeler. But the proof depended on elementary geometry that turned out to be self-contradicting. So the proof fails, and the wormhole would need coordinates. And it doesnt have any!
