NeonSigns.HK is a new online-only exhibition of Hong Kongs iconic - TopicsExpress

NeonSigns.HK is a new online-only exhibition of Hong Kongs iconic neon signs that are destined to disappear as they are phased out by newer and more efficient LED technology. Contributors to the project include internationally-acclaimed cinematographer Christopher Doyle, and photographer Wing Shya who served as the exclusive photographer on director Wong Kar-wais films Happy Together and 2046. I am personally currently working on a feature on the exhibition for the South China Morning Post newspaper here in HK, and I will be interviewing some of those involved, including curator Aric Chen. Users can send in their favourite neon signs from around the city until June 30.
