Network Marketing Tip for Today: Heres 5 Tips for your Phone Conversation Its knowing what to say on the phone when someone calls you up about your network marketing opportunity. Here are 5 tips for your phone conversation in todays video and post. As you can see I have invited someone along to interview about the goal of your phone conversation. My husband, Ian has been in the sales arena his whole working life and is going to share here with you what is the goal of your phone conversation. We have been testing a few areas lately to see what strategies work and what doesnt. Currently we are testing out a strategy where people are calling us about our network marketing opportunity. So here below are some tips from Ian on what you should be doing when you get a phone call from someone who is interested in what you have to offer. 1. Write down on a piece of paper what your objective is for that phone conversation. For example you are wanting to invite that person to a meeting. Ian compared your objective as if you were going out to dinner. You have an entree, a main meal and a dessert. The phone conversation is really the entree of a main meal. 2. You ask the question - What is it that they are expecting from you? You are wanting to ask questions as you know what they are looking expecting from you. The worst thing you can do is waffle on about the company, the products or anything else of that nature. You want to answer exactly what they want to know. Keep it short and simple. 3. Keep Talking About the Upcoming Meeting Your plan is really to get that person to the meeting, so you want to keep referring them back to where the meeting will be held and that all their questions can be answered there. 4. Get Their Contact Details You want to make sure you are getting their email address and their phone number... This is so that you can send them some further information, like a tool that you can use from the company to explain what its all about. It is also that you can remind them of the upcoming meeting. 5. When You Get the Yes When you get the yes from that person about yes there are interested in further information or yes they want to come to the meeting then cut the phone conversation short or finish off the phone conversation... because if you keep them longer on the phone and the more you talk to them you could actually lose them. These five points outlined above is really to keep it very simple. However make sure you check out the video above as Ian shares with you how different sales is to network marketing.
