Never a dull moment here in Hooterville. Long story short--Bill went out to do something in the garage and after he was out there a while the 4 dogs started going crazy --the littlest one sat on the back of the couch making a noise that was nothing short of a scream. Daisy and Gretchen took turns coming in--barking and going right back out. I went out to see what they were fussing about and it was Bill trying to come up the sidewalk in back but could not walk--his legs just wanted to give out on him. I came in and got him gator aid because I have now become to recognize a low sugar reaction --I put a blanket down on the ground and he laid on it and drank the drink--after a few minutes I pulled the car right up close to him and he was able to pull himself up and get in the car. He is fine now. He said Stormy would not leave him at all. He kept saying call 911 - but I knew if it was just the sugar thing the drink would help him in just a few minutes--and it did. The young strong neighbor that I called at one time no longer lives there so I did not have anyone to call. It stinks getting old!
