Never a truer word spoken, amursnow, I couldnt agree more. This rag is a major media supporter of one of the most disturbing acts of animal cruelty in the world today, and will do whatever it takes to legalize this sickness again. Here they are trying to hoodwink the public into thinking these beautiful and harmless animals, that do indeed bring joy to many, are dangerous predators, ready to gobble up children, given half a chance. Pathetic. As soon as the Tories got into Office by the skin of their teeth, this lot could hardly contain themselves. Have you ever heard of the Hegelian Dialectic - problem-reaction- solution ? I believe the Hackney case was a classic example of this. They had to kick off the process somehow and it became the catalyst to trigger off the fox propaganda machine. Adverts even appeared in certain publications with £££ signs, saying you could make plenty of money from your anti fox stories. You can imagine the calibre of people that went for it. You wouldnt think such a so-called civilized country could stoop so low, would you ? There was a story where no doubt a fisherman had seen one of these ads and said he had been bitten by a fox on his boat while he slept. THis appeared in this rag, of course. When bite experts studied the pics of his wounds, they said his bite marks resembled those belonging to a mink. We just want this BS to stop, as really these hacks and their followers are fooling no-one. They would do very well to remember that they are the minority, in fact their numbers are so small that they are statistically negligible. But they have media contacts, hence these type of articles.
