Never before have I been so incredibly heartbroken by the death of someone I never knew. In a way, though, Robin Williams was part of the soundtrack to my childhood. I used to listen to cassette tapes of his stand up (A Night At The Met from 1986 is my all time favorite, second only to Live on Broadway) and he was the star (even if he was only meant to be a supporting actor) of every major film of my youth.
