Never did I envision that my worst fear would come through- getting lost in Barbados. With the innocent desire to study with a friend upon her request, I set out to find her home that Ive never been to before. I didnt know that the place she told me was actually an entire stretch of communities and not just one place. I came off the school bus knowing already that I was lost especially when the bus driver asked me if I was sure I am at the right place. After waiting for hours I decided to find a home that I could make a call. God led me to a kind old couples home who allowed me to use their phone. I called her and could not get through to any number I had for her. Then I had to face the formidable fact that I was in a residential area where no public transportation ran. I was told to walk what I believe to be 5 miles :( in order to get a ride back to campus, where I was one safe. Thank you Angelique Sparklez Brown for giving me my first lost Bim experience. Morale: Always know places name so you can tell people where you ought to be and not use somewhere sumn like that
