Your responsibilities will involve the financial and contractual control, co-ordination of the efforts of all parties throughout the company involved in the execution of this project to the budgeted cost and programme Their completed construction projects have been for highly publicized branded companies, public sector services and specialist premises across the UK. With a strong presence in the north of England and across the globe they are seeking a commercial manager/QS whose building services knowledge is proven with previous experience employed by contractors on projects such as data centre or major services background such as power, rail infra, hospitals or similar. The initial project is due to run on a 67 week programme and the successful candidate could be employed on a permanent or freelance basis. You will be able to demonstrate a sound working knowledge of the various forms of Conditions of Contract, knowledge of construction and contract law, working knowledge of basic plant, equipment, materials and labour costs, employment legislation and working rule agreements.
