New Job Mechanical Estimator - GM/05161 Industry: Building and Construction Job Type: Permanent Location: Berkshire, England Salary: £32000 - £40000 per annum + Package My Client is a well established building services sub-contractor based in Berkshire (although the vast majority of their work takes place within the M25). They are looking to imminently employ a mid weight Mechanical Estimator on a permanent basis. They are currently working on a range of projects across a variety of sectors. This Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, attending mid & post tender meetings and post tender control. They will be expected to interface with both existing and potential clients. Experience of SEC is a bonus & previous experience of Estimating jobs between £20k - £3million is a must. Duties · Accountable for all mechanical estimating · Preparation of tender documentation & cost estimates · Customer visits, negotiation & development · Sourcing and liaison with resources for design, suppliers & labour for quotations · Ensure successful commercial business is carried out at all times · Develop a systematic sales plan to achieve quotation & sales targets Experience required · Experienced in the provision of Mechanical Services in a HVAC environment · Must be commercially astute · Able to strategically plan · Excellent negotiation skills · Excellent communication skills · Excellent team working ability Remuneration Between £32,000.00 £40,000.00 per year Bonus (this is based on a margin of profit the business makes and is paid on a percentage of salary) 20 days holiday plus shutdown over Christmas (an additional 4 -6 days) Hours of work vary which contract will state however normally from 8.00 am - 5.00 pm Company pension based on 5% paid by AES as long as the employee contributes 5% Company mileage paid at 45 pence per mile
