New Job Site Manager/Project Manager - 118812 Industry: Building and Construction Job Type: Permanent Location: Chesham, England Salary: £35 - £40 per annum Site / Project Manager The Company: My Client are a well established general builder with a turnover in excess of £10 million working in the London and Home Counties area of the South East of England. Due to continued expansions and recent contract awards the company is looking to employ and Intermediate / Contract QS that has recently finished college or university or in their final stages. My Client has a wide and varied client base from large constructors to Local Authorities and Private Sector Clients. The range of building works carried out directly by the business varies but includes *External works packages *Kitchen and bathroom replacement - Decent Homes projects *Complete refurbishment of schools, gyms, houses etc *Mechanical & electrical works including boiler replacement *New build projects *Internal and external decorations *Insurance repair and replacement works The Company has young energetic management base that have a strong vision for the future and are commencing the development of expanding their client base and IT business systems. You will be joining a company at an exciting time with growth and vision as key factors to the future. The Candidate: My client are looking for a self motivated person who has worked in the Social housing market and preferably has decent homes experience. The individual needs a good working knowledge of all aspects of the building process and will be responsible for the delivery of Projects reporting directly to a Contracts or Operations Manager. Part of your role will include Managing and maintaining all site records in line with company procedure. The role will include liaison with Client and other stakeholders and as a frontline Staff member you would be seen as extremely important to the business. It would advantageous if you had a formal Building Qualification but as a minimum we would require SMSTS and appropriate CSCS card. You will need to be mobile and prepared to travel between sites and head office and a full driving licence would be a beneficial. The Company is forward thinking and will be prepared to assist in any continual training needs. Rewards: Salary will be between £35K to 40k depending on experience. The package will include an allowance for travel. Annual leave will be offered at 28 days paid holiday and bank holidays. The company also runs a bonus scheme subject to company and individual performance.
