New subject. Bowe Bergdahl. I am amazed how people are jumping to conclusions based upon media outlets and political rhetoric. Does this swap seem somewhat unusual? Yes. However, none of us have all the facts and I am not going to rely on a bunch of pandering politicians, some in the midst of tough re-elections, to give me the straight poop, on either side of the issue. The other thing that amazes me is that I always hear this high powered rhetoric about the Constitution. Ok...well....one of the most fundamental principles of our Constitution is that people are innocent until proven guilty. This brouhaha, whether legitimate or not, sure is putting that principle to a test, even to a point that people are being threatened with violence should they embrace Bergdahl. Before one makes a judgment, what if the spotlight was on you or a member of your family? The Constitution applies to everybody, even the guilty and even the traitor, if he is one.
