New virus warning. A new virus dubbed CryptoLocker is doing the rounds. In short it will infect your computer randomly encrypt files and then ransom them. While the infection can be cleaned there is currently no way to recover the encrypted files short of paying the ransom. If you have any important data now would be a good time to think about how you manage your backups because if you get hit like this you could permanently lose very important things.
