Next Saturday will be the Team Katie 5K at Rock Hill Middle School. Katie is the daughter of RHMS employee Tammy Schwab. Katie has been hospitalized since early June due to complications with her Type 1 Diabetes. For those of us with loved ones with diabetes you know the daily struggle with blood sugar levels...now Katie and her family are in an even bigger struggle and they need our support. Please consider participating in the race or just show up and purchase items with proceeds going to the family. I will be there with 20 or so of my NJHS members. No one in our building supports my NJHS crew like Tammy Schwab...she personally purchased items and provided funds to my kids toward their NYC trip last year...over and over...she gave from her heart because she truly loves our kids.
