Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 Valentines day that we celebrate on the 14th February, dates back to the third century, the time of the Roman Empire. Emperor Claudius II forbade soldiers to marry to prevent them from being tied up to their families and therefore avoid goin to war. All priests complied except one called Valentin who resisted the Emperors decision and kept on marrying young couples secretly. After they discovered this disobediance, Valentin was imprisoned and on 14th February he was executed. He has been declared a saint and lovers around the world celebrate this day of love every February every year. So what better way to spend this day with your hearts keeper.
