Nigel update: Last night I was pulled from my sleep by a thumping sound. After stumbling through the house trying to figure out who was trying to break in or out I went through the kitchen and noticed one of the drawers pulled out. Upon closer inspection it looked to be a hairy black drawer. Yes, the mighty Nigel got into the drawer and could not turn around and get out. I had to pull out 2 of the top drawers to give him room to come out. When I got up a few hours later I discovered that he was in a corner in the living room. He sat there quietly observing for about an hour with Oonagh and Shadow each taking a turn to check him out and quietly voice their opinions regarding his presence. Then poof, he was not there anymore. Tonight, Phil found him under the bed and he was receptive and even rolled on his back for Phil. Then he was brought out to the couch for a few minutes and then he ducked to the back of the house again, but just a few minutes ago he was spotted skulking through the shadows through the kitchen. Hes starting to acclimate and I anticipate full integration within a couple weeks. No pic tonight because hes good at blending into the dark parts of the house...lol He is definitely a smart one. Opens cabinets and drawers all over. Thanks to Nigel we have discovered (we hope) all of the possible hiding places available in the house. He has added some adventure to our days :-)
